Material Specifications |
Vertical Panels, Shelves and Drawer Fronts |
All vertical panels, adjustable shelves and locking shelves are made of 3/4" thick thermally fused melamine panels. Under intense heat and pressure melamine resin and particle board are fused together. Melamine Coated Panel known as (MCP) is highly resistant to scratch, very good impact characteristic and provides the ease of maintenance. Use of 3/4" thick panels provides additional strength against shelf warping and deflection. Three of the most popular MCP colors are White, Natural Maple and Sunset for our Do It Yourself Closet Closet Storage Organizers. |
Drawer Boxes |
We use 5/8" thick White MCP (Melamine Coated Panel) to construct our drawer boxes. This guarantees a high quality construction drawer box meant to last for years. |
Rod and Support |
We use an oval shape rod 1 1/4"x 11/16" made of 1/16" thick steel with a polished chrome finish. Rod supports are made of steel, chrome plated with 2 pins on the back for insertion in 32 mm system holes. |
Drawer Slides |
We use 100 lbs capacity 3/4 extension, self closing, bottom mounted slides made of high quality steel with built front roller for a smooth operation. |
Handles |
Our Wire pull Handles are made of 1/4 " diameter steel finished in brushed chrome. 4 1/8" overall length (96 mm or 3 3/4 " center to center of holes) and 1 1/8" deep. |
Closet Hangers |
Screw mounted nickel plated steel hangers with 200 lbs load capacity each. It allows a 16mm vertical, 14mm depth and 10mm lateral movement for ease of adjustment. |

Hanging Rail |
6mm thick x 29mm toll, galvanized steel rails with 6 mm diameter holes Drilled 1” center to center
Note: We recommend attaching the wall rails to studs with Pan Head screws.
Do not attach only to sheetrock/drywall. |

Covering Strip |
White plastic cover strip gives clean appearance to the parts of the hanging rail which is not covered by closet components. |

Panhead Screws |
¾” long zinc plated steel Pan Head screw with #2 philips drive, self drilling. |

Basket |
24” width, 11” tall, 14” deep basket made of 3/16 chrome plated metal with full extension telescoping ball bearing slides. Max weight capacity 75 lbs. Baskets can easily be disconnected for portability. Ideal for storing clothes and shoes. |
